Biography of Buford Houston Bottoms

CCCman, Camp Cook, Afton, Wyoming

         My Grandfather, Buford Houston Bottoms, was part of a CCC camp in Afton Wyoming in about 1935. He was the camp cook. His birth date is 1912 and in 1933 he would have been 21. I would guess he joined the camps right when they were formed in Kentucky in 1933. He met my grandmother in Afton at this time. He was originally from Knifely, Kentucky.

         He left the CCC camp in 1935 and returned to Kentucky. He died in 1946 so I don't know much about him. Does anyone know more about this camp? Or does anyone remember my grandfather? Let me know.
