ROSE OF YORK
I was the Crew Chief of the "Rose of York" when the now queen of England was only 18. I thought it would be nice to do something for her being 18. At first the B-17 was named "Princess Elizebeth". The King said no to that so we changed the name to plain "Princess". Again no like, so we redo to "Rose of York". The plane got shot down returning from Big B with a BBC correspondent named Guy Byum, on its 98th mission.
