Concussion

       A quick comment, the reason the movie Private Ryan didn't sound real loud to me was because there was no concussion associated with the sounds. When a shell hits close you get a definite concussion, you feel it in your chest, your head and sort of with your whole body. The theatre I saw it in did not have the equipment to really make you feel the sounds. In Germany we saw so many horses that had been killed by concussion without a scratch on them. They were apparently very sensitive to the concussions and the concussion alone was deadly.
