Crash of Brigand OB--K VS857

Note open hatch in bottom of plane just "above" the Roundel, this was only entrance to aircraft. The entrance into crew area was not very big at all, yet during our crash whilst hurtling down to earth I dove through there and didn't even touch the sides, I had tried to release the canopy but it couldn't budge, all this in just seconds, as it turns out it was only about 15 seconds before we hit. The hatch would not open before impact. Through this hatch was where Mr. Weston exited after crash. The Pilot was thrown clear on impact.
