Biography of Hughes L. Ash
Lt., Inf-Res, CCC Company 3464, Camp NP-16, Tennessee
I recently discovered some of my grandfather's CCC documents from Dec 1, 1939 that list his serving as an officer in Company 3464 (NP16). On the document he is listed as 1st LT Hughes L. Ash, Inf-Res ATCH. My mother was born in New Tazewell in 1939 while he as serving with the CCC.
I am interested to know of the activities of this organization during my grandfather's participation.
