CCCMan, Company 3761, Camp SCS-21-MO, California, Missouri & Company 4736, Camp SCS-7, Horseshoe Bend, Boise ID & Camp SCS-9, Black Canyon, Emmett, Idaho
My father Claude McGinnis was in the CCCs from 1937 to 1938. He was first assigned to Camp SCS-MO-21 with Company 3761 located at California MO. He was there 4/1937 to 10/1937. After his first six month enlistment he was transferred to another company. There he was kitchen police with Company 4736 at Camp SCS-7 near Boise and Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. He then moved to Camp SCS-9, near Black Canyon and Emmett, ID. My father did pick and shovel work at Black Canyon. I would like to know projects they worked on etc or any one who may have known him.
