Biography of William Cope
Company 4429, Camp F-42 & F-44, Escalante, Utah & Camp SP-6, Durant, Miss.
My Dad William Cope was in the CCCs in Company 4429 that went to Escalante, Utah in 1937-38 in Camp F-42 and F-44. I have my father's Official annual of District E Fourth Corps Area 1935 Civilian Conservation Corps. Page 163 middle photo with tall & short man. The short man is William Cope. I also have a camp photo taken of him in Durante, Miss. 2/3/1937 where he was dressed in a cook's uniform with white cook's hat.
