Biography of David Davis
CCCMan, Tempe, Arizona & Three Rivers, California
My Grandfather, David Davis was in the CCC between 1935 and 1936. He says he worked in Tempe, Arizona and Three Rivers, California. The camp he was with built roads. He says the thing he remembers most about his time with the CCC was how homesick he got. He was a (very) small town boy from West Virginia and I believe it was his first time away from home.
