Biography of John Farber

CCC Man, Company 1367, Elkton, VA

My grandfather John Farber recently passed away. When we were cleaning out his apartment I found his CCC discharge papers. He enlisted July 17, 1940 and served with Company 1367 in Elkton, Virginia. His company commander, at the time of his discharge on December 23, 1940 (image below), was Jeffrey W. James.

Coincidentally he passed away one month before I left for AmeriCorps NCCC, which is very similar to his generation's CCC.

Any information about his company, camp or service would be appreciated.
