Biography of Cecil Q. Flowers

First Vice President NACCCA, CCCMan

I served in the CCC in 1940 to 1942. Long after serving in the CCCs I became active in the National Association of Civilian Conservation Corps Alumni. I raised money through the state to erect 18 CCC markers in Tennessee. I served as board member of the NACCCA for ten years, and my wife and I hosted about 10 CCC reunions. Two of these were national, the 1990 Pigeon Forge, TN reunion and the 1992 Las Vegas, NV reunion. I am currently the First Vice President of the NACCCA.
