Biography of Frank Allen Martin

My father's name was Frank Allen Martin. He was born in 1918 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. My father was at Grand Canyon, Arizona in the Civilian Conversation Corps in 1938. His Company was 3342. He was paid $30.00 a month. Twenty dollars was sent home to his parents. My father kept $8.00 for himself for incidentals, for toothpaste, razor blades, etc. He was in the CCC for 2 years. He signed up 6 months at a time. He was also at the Petrified Forest. My dad was proud to be in the CCC camps.
