Biography of Manas Troyer

CCC Man, Unknown Company

My father Manas Troyer, an Old order Amish member from Ashland, Ohio, was in the CCCs. He was born May 27, 1926. If I remember correctly he went in at 16 years of age. His parents of course were very poor. I have a photo that a stranger dropped off a few years ago of a team and he was with my Father. My Father died August 12,1997. He rarely talked of this unless other members came to visit us.

Any information about his company, camp or service would be appreciated.
