Biography of James Lee Patterson
CCCman, Unknown Company, Lake Okibojea, Iowa
James Lee Patterson, born between 1917-1920 in Iowa (several possible towns: Aames, Novato, Milford). He later joined the CCCs and worked at a camp near Lake Okibojea (sp?), Iowa.
By the way, I am also a "graduate" of the CCC (California Conservation Corps) and I believe they are setting up an alumni association that includes original Civilian Conservation Corps members. They also have a web page you may be interested in: http://www.ccc.ca.gov/frame.htm.
