Comments: The Croall surname has been spelled or mispelled in a variety of ways in the various family records. It has been spelled Kroll, on Helen's death certificate, Crowe, on her Marriage Certificate, Croll in a Great uncle's census records, and Crowell is another likely alternate spelling. As to McCartney, this is often mistakenly spelled McCarty or McCarthy. However as the family saying is, you're a McCartNEY (with a slap to the Knee on the last syllable).
