Transferring Fuel from Drums The Fuel process at Kimpo started with 55 gallon drums brought by LST. These would unload to Ducks ( amphibious landing craft with wheels that could drive like trucks once ashore ) which would bring the drums to shore. The fuel would be pumped into a 1200 Gallon 6x6 Refueler by a small pump, seen here, and then transported to the air strip and then transferred into a 3200 gallon tanker that acted as a Gas Station on the Flight Line.
