LST Looking Aft

LST to Inchon Korea

This LST {land ship tank} was a ship that had been sold or given or whatever to the Japanese. I have no idea what the number or name was. The crew was all Japanese. We had no contact with them, we ate our C-rations they had their fish heads & rice. This ship was about 250ft long. The bow opened up and a ramp is dropped for loading and unloading. There is a ramp in side so vehicles can be driven to the top deck. Trucks and Jeeps tied down for sea.  Note the davits and landing craft.
