Biography of Arthur Donald Blackrud

My brother Arthur Donald Blackrud, who went by name Donald Blackrud, served in the late 1930s in a camp working in the area of Deception Pass, Washington. He was from Anacortes, Skagit County, Washington. He was born in 1918. He died at Guadacanal in 1942. I want my grandsons to know who their uncle was and am looking for any information available.
