US FOREST SERVICE

Instructions on How to Order Documents from their Website

The Forestry Service Washington Office History Collection, located in Durham, NC, contains numerous items related to the civilian conservation coprs. These are detailed on our web site cataloging our collection. If you look at our web site and ask, by phone or email, for specific publications/manuscripts listed there the History Collection Personnel can make photocopies of materials for you. The materials would be sent by mail and you would be invoiced for the copy fees. We charge 15 cents/page, the number of pages being listed in the catalog reference from which you are ordering. You may also call the Collection Personnel to talk about specific entries in the database at (919) 682-9319 (Monday-Thursday). The Collection may also be reached by email at carols@acpub.duke.edu.

At this point in time, we are not scanning in lots of materials or typing-in documents electronically, although we will do some of that as time allows.
