Draft Spur 86 & Omaha Beach, D-Day, Normandy, WWII, USN

I enlisted US Navy age 17, Feb 1944 and was sent to Sampson NY for boot camp, Co C 159. We had four weeks of boots, a short leave, and then were sent to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. We were assigned to Draft Spur 86 and boarded the Queen Mary for our trip overseas, leaving from pier 92 New York. I was in the Normandy invasion (Omaha Beach) D- Day assault wave 0630, would like to hear from some of the people from Spur 86. For more info you can contact me.
