My grandfather Jose Evan Barrera (alternatively Jose Ivan Barrera-Gonzales), and his two brothers Emilio Barrera and Eloy Eduardo Barrera worked for the CCC prior to WWII in the Big Bend (Texas) area. His brothers were both drafted at the start of WWII.
