Biography of Al Garvey
CCCman, Companuy 1297, Camp Zillah, Washington
I was in Co. 1297 at Camp Zillah in WASHINGTON in 1940 and have lots of pictures. I am looking at one now of a group picture of everyone who was there at the time and their names. We were paid $30, $22 was sent home and we got to keep $8. Wow!!
My name is Al Garvey. I've often wondered how many of the guys who were with me then are still alive.
