Biography of Joseph Louis Johns
Enrollee, Company 1418, Camp P-71, Sulphur Springs, Florida
My father, Joseph Louis Johns was in the CCCamp in Sulphur Springs, Fl from 7/14/34 to 11/15/35. This camp was two miles south east of Pinecrest.
I have his discharge papers and signed by Jerome L. Newby, 1st Lt. 8th Inf. Cmd'g 148 Co. CCC. His # is CC4-111978. I'm looking for any info or where I can obtain info about the CCCamp in Fl. My father had a carbuncle on his hip and it left him short legged on one side. It tells about this in his discharged papers. I would appreciate any info.
