Biography of Oran C. Rose
CCCMan, Camp SP-2-CO, Evergreen and Boulder Colorado & Camp SP-7-OK, Davis, Oklahoma
I was a member of CCC from May 30, 1933 to March 31, 1934. Enrolled at Oklahoma City , 5/30/33, sent to Ft. Logan, Co, where company 1813 was formed, remained in Company 1813 throughout my service.
During that time I was as follows:
Ft. Logan, CO. 5/30/33 to 6/15/33.
Evegreen, CO 6/15/33 to 6/30/33, Camp SP2C. The camp at Evergreen was never really set up, we were only there 2 weeks.
Boulder, CO 6/30/33 to 11/15/33. Camp SP2C.
Davis, OK, 11/15/33 to 03/31/34, Camp SP7O.
My company was 1813. That number was kept for its tenure of several years. I was only in it for ten months but it existed several years. My discharge described my service as "satisfactory".
