Biography of Woody Sanders
CCCMan, Houston, Minnesota & Idaho
My Dad, Woody Sanders, was in the CCCs. I know my dad was at two different camps, one in Minnesota near Houston and one in Idaho.
The only story that he told was when he was in Idaho there was a guy in the camp that liked to sing and play the guitar. Sometimes four or five guys would go into the locale town and this guy would play the guitar and sing to get free beer for everyone. He said the guys name was Hank Williams.
