Biography of Leo Vinson Telles

CCC Man, Company 2840, Camp SCS-20-N, Silver City, NM

My uncle Leo Vinson Telles, born in 1917 in Monroe, Louisiana, served in the CCC about 1939. His Social Security Application shows his residence in 1939 as Civilian Conservation Corps, Company 2840, Camp SCS-20-N, Silver City, New Mexico. I have attached a picture of him and some other men while working in the CCC. He is the man on the far right. He died 4 Jan 1995, in Hillsborough, Florida.
