Biography of Jess S. Brooks
Co M, 15th Inf Regt, 3rd Inf Div/Co D, 18th Inf Regt, 1st Inf Div, USA
I was in the 15th Infantry, M Company, 3rd. Division in North Africa untill January 1943. Transferred to 18th Infantry, D Company 1st Division, (Big Red One) until Aug. 1943 when I transferred back to M company, stayed with them until Feb. 1944 when I wounded at Anzio. Was transferred back to the states in June of 44. Was discharged from the 15th Inf. Nov. 1944.
