Military Biographies Collection

     Welcome to the Military Biographies Collection.  This collection consists of Biographies of historical figures or men whose biographical information has been obtained from books, or other historical documents. There is a section of the Museum dedicated to the collection of biographical information of veterans from the veterans and their families, that being the Military Oral History Collection.  The Biography pages of that section will also be linked below for ease of reference. Each section  of both types of biographies concerns a particular branch or branches of service.

     Biographies give a personal relation of what military service is about, what it is like to serve and to fight.  Biographies also remind us of those who have served and of their contributions, honor and sacrifice.  All remind us of the respect and obligations owed to those who have served our country and also tell us more about ourselves and our societies, its origins and history.
