In his acknowledgments in the book, he mentions that the Special Collections section in the library at the University of Vermont has a copy of the orientation pamphlet for new recruits; he also acknowledges the Vermont Historical Society, the Waterbury Historical Society, and the Vermont Department of Libraries, as well as some local public libraries (Rutland & Proctor).
