I, W. H. Mowery, was in the Civilian Conservation Corps. I first served at a Camp in the foothills of Mt. Adamas at Trout Lake, Washington. Afterwards I served in Company 5481, at Orkridge, Oregon. I then served at Clanton, Alabama, where I worked on the nursery farm of Auburn University. Such nursery's grew seedlings for use in CCC and Forestry Projects. My last CCC assignment was Camp Vanhorn at Columbus, Georgia.
I then joined the Navy and served three years during World War Two from 1942 to 1945. I also served in the Army from 1945 to 1968.
