Biography of Nathaniel Polk

CCC Man, Company 4487, Camp SCS-15, Anderson, South Carolina

My great, great, great uncle Nathaniel Polk. Was in Company 4487, Camp SCS-15. I believed it was Alabama, but was not sure, and the records suggest that it was South Carolina as that company was not it seems in Alabama but it was at that camp in SC. I am sure he was in a black/African-American unit and Company 4487 was.

Any information about his company, camp or service would be appreciated.
