Biography of Harry Saxman, Sr., aka Ed Saxman

Enrollee, Camp Ole Bull, Potter County, Pennsylvania

I was in the C.C.C. in 1933 in Ole Bull camp in Potter County, Pennsylvania. There were 200 of us from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and we were sent by train to an army post in Fort Hoyle, Maryland for three weeks training. We were then shipped to Ole Bull camp to set up a C.C.C. camp. I cannot find anyone who still exists from Ole Bull.

I have an 8"x36" framed picture of the whole camp that was taken in the fall of 1933 after I was discharged. I was discharged on September 30 for the end of my term of service. I am now 89 years old.
